Strenghtening Orbis International's Partner Assessment Tools for Enhanced Collaboration

At some point in our lives, each one of us will need some eye-related care, whether it be refractive devices like glasses and contacts or some health intervention when it comes to our ophthalmic health. In developing countries, the interventions that some can  access easily, are expensive or difficult to come by. Orbis International, an NGO dedicated to fighting avoidable blindness, has a vision to change that with a mission to utilize its partnerships mission is to mentor, train, and inspire local teams to save sight in their communities. As partnerships are a key pillar of their work, assessing and evaluating them is crucial to ensuring that the desired impact is made. This report details the research and findings of this EPD SIPA ream in devising a framework for clear partner assessments that can allow Orbis International to utilize advanced data analysis techniques such as artificial intelligence, best communicate their impact, and track their progress toward their vision.
