10th Annual SIPA/BPI Research Conference
The tenth annual Conference on Bank Regulation, co-hosted by the Bank Policy Institute and Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs, took place on February 20th, 2026. Each year, the conference brings together academics, regulators, and practitioners to discuss the latest research on banking and bank regulation. The overarching themes of this year’s conference were (1) innovation and automation in banking, (2) banking supervision, and (3) digitalization and banking.
