Can Generative AI Help Financial Institutions Mitigate Risks?

The Global Information Security division within Bank of America (BoA) is responsible for protecting bank information systems as well as client and employee data around the globe 24/7. Cybersecurity is a top priority for BoA, and as an industry leader, BoA partners with government agencies, industry organizations, other financial institutions and internal lines of business to create and maintain multi-layered defenses needed to address increasingly sophisticated and persistent threats. Working with the Global Information Security division within the bank, the Capstone team will analyze how financial institutions can use generative AI (such as for fraud detection) while also mitigating risks.
