Reminders for the 2024 Application!

The 2024 Application is officially open for all programs! You check here to identify your program's deadline requirements.

There are two reminders that I’d like to share with you all while filling out the application that have been frequently asked over the last few weeks.

  1. We do NOT accept any at-home versions of any testing, which would include GRE/GMAT/TOEFL/IELTS. Please remember that GRE/GMAT is recommended for all 2024 programs and required for MPA-EPM. Language proficiency testing is required if English is not your first language or if your entire undergraduate degree (four years or international equivalent) was not taught in English.
  2. We no longer require the quantitative/language resume. Rather, you will be prompted to add your quantitative coursework one by one on the application. You will be asked to include the institution the course was taken, the subject of the course, course title, semester/year, grade, and brief description of material covered. You will be able to add as many courses within the fields of chemistry, computer science, economics, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or other sciences. Candidates should now include any language skills in their general resume.

If we have more reminders to share, we’ll be sure to update the blog. I highly recommend looking at past blogs such as Shally’s Recommendations on Applying to SIPA, What do you MEAN there's a video essay?!, Tips and Tricks for Conquering the Application Essays, or Application Advice from an Associate Director and many more for additional content!

Good luck with your application process!
