New Leaf Climate Partners’ mission is to accelerate the transition to a sustainable future through blended finance investments that protect, restore and grow our natural capital. The goal of the Capstone project is to inform state and federal policymakers and private investors on the opportunity for publicly-funded interventions that unlock financial investment in nature based solutions. To date, there has been limited coherent analysis and assessment of the viability and applicability of existing public sector strategies for climate and economic development that may be relatively quick wins.
