Spring 2010

The United Nations Peacebuilding Fund (PBF) was launched in October 2006 to provide a crucial bridge between conflict and recovery in countries emerging from conflict, especially at the early stages when other funding may not be available. The PBF aims to provide support to interventions of direct and immediate relevance to the peacebuilding processes; to address critical funding gaps; and to provide catalytic funding and encourage more sustained funding and engagement by other agencies and donors. The objective of this workshop was to assist the Joint Steering Committee and Secretariat for the PBF-Comoros in developing a results framework for the PBF-Comoros priority plan.
