Kumulus delivers clean drinking water through atmospheric water generators, a decentralized, low infrastructure alternative to traditional water supply. This report supports the company's scaling strategy by answering three questions: how large is the market, where should assembly expand, and what maintenance model enables geographic growth. Across six main target markets in the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe, the SIPA capstone workshop team estimates a serviceable obtainable market of EUR 50M to 857M. A supply chain analysis across three lenses – operational viability, risk and resilience, and strategic upside – recommends Saudi Arabia as the optimal location for a new assembly line. A Pareto analysis identifies 17 components accounting for 80% of the total cost of goods sold (COGS), providing a clear sourcing optimization roadmap. Finally, the report proposes a shift from reactive maintenance to a structured, scalable operating model supported by digital tools, standardized workflows, and a local partner framework.
