Opportunities to Improve Low-Income Women’s Access to Financial Services in China
With microcredit active throughout the country and bolstered by recent government policies to promote wealth redistribution, the Chinese market is currently suitable for entry by Women’s World Banking. The purpose of this project was to propose a strategy for Women’s World Banking to enter the microfinance market in China through establishing partnership with an existing financial institution by providing advisory services on innovation to meet unmet product and service demands.
