FilmAid Kenya
FilmAid International (FAI) undertook the production of an educational film, Fur Indhahada (“Open Your Eyes”) after community leaders and multi-sectorial actors recognized the need to educate Somali refugees in Dadaab, Kenya about HIV/AIDS. The objective of the workshop was to measure the impact the film. FilmAid and UNHCR had conducted a baseline survey in Dadaab, in October 2004. The SIPA team carried out a follow-up survey in March 2006 and compared the 2006 findings to the baseline survey using statistical analysis.
