Three SIPA Students Selected for Council of Women World Leaders Fellowships
Three students from Columbia SIPA have been selected for 2026 fellowships through the Council of Women World Leaders (CWWL) Student Fellowship Program, earning three of the organization’s four placements this cycle. Hannah Taschbach MPA ’27 will spend their fellowship at the Reykjavik Global Forum in Reykjavik, Iceland; Juliana Buitrago Rivera MPA ’27 at the Club de Madrid in Madrid, Spain; and Eden Kaduri MPA ’26 at the King’s Global Institute for Women’s Leadership in London, England.
Founded in 1996 by Vigdís Finnbogadóttir, Iceland’s president from 1980 to 1996 and the first woman to be democratically elected to that office, along with Mary Robinson, former president of Ireland, and Secretary-General Laura Liswood, the CWWL is a network of 96 current and former women prime ministers and presidents. Its fellowship program has placed hundreds of graduate students from across the globe in the offices of Council members, ministers, and international organizations for over two decades.
