Student Profile: Saiful Salihudin MIA ’21

Saiful Salihudin MIA ’21 concentrates in economic and political development at Columbia SIPA. He decided to return to his studies after working as an economist and policy analyst to explore emerging economics and politics and policymaking further.

 

“The big challenge that we're facing right now, as a generation, is that a lot of our problems are global and interconnected,” he says. “This is why it is important for a lot of future policymakers to equip themselves with an understanding of holistic, human-centered policymaking that includes different layers of human experience and identity.”
