As a Ghanaian-American, Xavier has had a passion for working to address complex global development challenges, diplomacy, and African & Black diaspora relations.

Xavier's Advice to SIPA students: "Continue to learn and unlearn in your journey of life. Speak up when things are wrong and be on the side of history where you are fighting alongside oppressed people globally. When dealing with issues impacting a particular community, keep in mind that community members are the experts on their own experiences and needs. Collaboration, concrete actions, and active listening are key to making meaningful progress towards creating a better world for all people. Always remember to lead with love and respect."
