Posted Jan 31 2024
Harrison Vijay Tsui is a New York-based writer, journalist and policy analyst. He currently advises Estonia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on media freedoms and e-governance. His work can be heard on Malcolm Gladwell’s Revisionist History, NBC, StoryCorps, WNYC, and NPR’s TED Radio Hour and How I Built This. He holds a journalism degree from NYU and is pursuing a dual masters degree from Columbia SIPA and Columbia Journalism School.
Harrison’s Advice to SIPA students: “Adopt the idea of pragmatic idealism. Having this perspective keeps your vision clear and goals attainable both in class and out. The two are contradictory in a way, but embrace it. When one is weak, lean on the other.”
