Jeri Powell Recognized with Single Parent Resource Center’s Volunteer Recognition Award

The Single Parent Resource Center (SPRC) recognized New York Junior League (NYJL) President Jeri Powell with the Volunteer Recognition Award at the SPRC’s Fall Fete. The award celebrates Powell’s individual accomplishments and highlights the strong partnership between SPRC and the NYJL. 

Powell, adjunct associate professor of international and public affairs at SIPA, is an attorney, advocate, consultant, and strategist, focused on supporting women new to politics on their path to seeking elective office and other positions of influence in politics and public policy. She is the founder of the nonprofit Take Office, an accelerator program for accomplished women interested in public policy and politics.
