Cybersecurity and Data Privacy

Dean Merit E. Janow moderated a panel discussion among cybersecurity and data privacy experts at a June 30 workshop that examined the issue from a trans-Atlantic perspective.

Prime Minister Xavier Bettel of Luxembourg hosted the private event—entitled “Cybersecurity and Data Privacy: Issues Affecting Businesses on Both Sides of the Atlantic”—which was held at the New York offices of Kaye Scholar LLP. Bettel also gave a keynote address.

Participants on the panel included:

  • Robert Glaesener, CEO, Talkwalker
  • Adrien Kirschfink, Strategy Senior Manager for Financial Services, Accenture

  • Kenneth A. Minihan, Lt. Gen. USAF (Ret.); Managing Director, Paladin Capital Group

Stephen Koval, a partner and co-chair of the corporate department at Kaye Scholer, gave welcoming remarks and Nicolas Mackel, the CEO of Luxembourg for Finance (a public development agency), gave closing remarks.
