La Unidad Latina Foundation awards scholarship grants to worthy and needy students for the pursuit of higher education, supports and encourages participation in educational programs and activities, and supports community programs which aid in the civic empowerment and educational improvement of the Latino community. Eligible degrees include: Master of Arts, Master of Science, Master of Public Administration/Policy, Master of Social Work.

Tuiton support at postgraduate level and for study abroad programs will be given as 70 percent grant and 30 percent loan up to the amount of NOK 67 191. Further tuiton support exceeding this amount will be given as a loan up to a maximum of NOK 131 386. Supplementary grants may be offered for high tuition programs. Only full-time studies are eligible, and the student must have resided in Norway for a continuous period of at least two years during the last five years before undertaking the educational program. Deadlines are usually in November and March.

Since 2007, the Lint Center for National Security Studies, Inc., has awarded over 50 merit-based scholarships ranging from $500 to $2,000. The Center was created to provide scholarships to Counterintelligence and National Security Workers, their children and scholars, and to advance the study of National Security, cross-cultural studies, and global understanding. Award amounts and application deadlines vary but are generally in January and July.

The Margaret McNamara Education Grants (formerly known as MMMF) is a nonprofit, public charity founded in 1981, which awards grants to exceptional women from developing countries for study in the US, Canada and select universities in South Africa and Latin America. The Medicus Student Exchange Fund is administered under the umbrellla of the scholarship commitee of the Swiss Benevolent Society of New York (SBS) and recipients are selected by swissuniversities. The fund supports Swiss citizens who wish to pursue graduate or postgraduate studies at recognized institutions in the United States. The application procedure for the Medicus Student Exchange Program is the same as for the Fulbright Program. Dual citizens are not eligible to apply.

The Agnes Jones Jackson Scholarship was established in the memory of the late Agnes Jones Jackson who was a long time NAACP member from the San Francisco branch. Part-time and full-time graduate students are eligible to apply. Eigibility: Must be a current member of the NAACP. Be a US citizen. Minimum GPA 3.0 Must not have reached the age of 25 by the application deadline. Must be currently enrolled or accepted to an accredited college or university in the United States. Must demonstrate financial need based on the federal porverty guidelines.

The Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation under its Scholarship Programme awards interest-free loan scholarships to Indian students with a consistently good academic record. The scholarship amount (up to a maximum of Rs. 20 lakhs) is decided as per the assessment of the Foundation.
