The National Italian American Foundation offers various scholarship opportunities for students of Italian descent. Scholarships range from $2,500 to $12,000. Eligibility Requirements: Be a member of NIAF or have a parent, guardian or grandparent who is a member of NIAF. Minimum GPA 3.5 out of 4.0 (or the equivalent). Some scholarships require a lower GPA requirement for eligibility. Be a US citizen or permanent resident. Have at least one ancestor who has immigrated from Italy.

The National Organization of Italian American Women provides scholarships to help with the educational advancement of Italian American Women. Since its inception in 1980, NOIAW has awarded over 100 scholarships to deserving candidates. Eligibility Requirements: Female undergraduate or graduate students Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited US academic institution. Applicants must have at least one parent of Italian descent. Minimum GPA of 3.5 Demonstrated financial need U.S. citizens

A number of scholarships with varying eligibility criteria are available to students who are members of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Application deadlines and award amounts vary.

The National Water Research Institute awards fellowships to graduate students in the US in the areas of water resources and treatment. Please note that students must be currently enrolled in a graduate program at a US university to receive the NWRI Fellowship.

The National Women's Studies Association awards a number of scholarships, book prizes, and essay awards. Current individual membership in the association is required for all awards. Application deadlines vary by award.

The Navajo Nation Graduate Fellowship is established to provide financial assistance to eligible Navajo students wishing to attend or attending graduate school, utilizing the Navajo Nation Graduate Trust Fund. Fall applications generally open in March and are due in June and spring applications open in September and are due in November.

Scholarships for Dutch students who want to do graduate level work abroad. Awards are for up to 2 years and cover all related academic costs, including a monthly allowance.

The Stanley M. Schoenfeld Memorial Scholarship is for NYGOA public sector members and their employees who are planning to advance their career in state or local government finances. Eligibility Requirements: A public sector member of NYS GFOA in good standing (dues must be current at the time of application and on receipt of the award). If not a member of NYS GFOA, must be an employee of a government which has a member in good standing.
