Personal Details
Yangyang (Kira) Wang is a first-year PhD student interested in sustainable finance, health economics, and climate change. Kira holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Economics (University of Toronto), a Master of Finance (Schulich School of Business), and a Master of Public Administration in International Finance and Quantitative Analysis (Columbia University).
Before entering her PhD, Kira explored various green finance instruments for natural capital conservation, aiming to develop the optimal strategies. She also researched on how ESG practices impact the market at the Center on Japanese Economy and Business of Columbia Business School, and worked on climate change policy research at the University of Tokyo. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, skating and capturing moments through photography.
