Tom Ogletree is an adjunct professor at the School of International and Public Affairs, teaching "Building & Scaling Social Impact Programs: Theory and Practice" in the spring semester. Tom is the founder of a new nonprofit organization focused on access and equity in the technology and startup space, incubated by Primary Venture Partners. Most recently, Tom held executive roles at Schmidt Futures, a philanthropic initiative founded by former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, and General Assembly, a global digital skills education company, where he built and scaled the social impact portfolio to provide scholarships to thousands of emerging technologists. He has also held leadership roles at the Clinton Foundation, CCS Fundraising, and GLAAD. He received his B.A. from Yale University and his M.P.A from New York University. He serves on the advisory board of the Ali Forney Center, a youth homeless services nonprofit. He lives with his husband, Nick, in Brooklyn.
