Personal Details

Seung Min (he/him) is a second-year Ph.D. student in Sustainable Development, with broad interests in environmental and development economics. Seung Min's research interests include climate change impact and environmental pollution, and he enjoys applying experimental and quasi-experimental methods to study these subjects.

Seung Min holds a MESc. in Environmental and natural resource economics from Yale University, and a B.A. in Economics from Seoul National University, with a Minor in Atmospheric Sciences. At Yale University, Seung Min explored the impact of climate change on fractional outcomes with Professor Robert Mendelsohn, and studied the impact of PM2.5 pollution on rooftop solar generation with Professor Kenneth Gillingham. Seung Min enjoys traveling in his free time; he has traveled to more than forty countries as an undergraduate.
