Sarah Fuhrman is an attorney and humanitarian aid professional with more than a decade of experience in policy, advocacy, research, and operations. Sarah has worked with a variety of organizations, from NGOs to academic institutions to the U.S. Government, on issues ranging from food insecurity to gender equality, from the protection of civilians in conflict to sanctions regimes. She has supported humanitarian responses in Afghanistan, DRC, Iraq, Kenya, Mexico, South Sudan, Thailand, and Yemen. Sarah holds a J.D. from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School and a LL.M. in Public International Law from the University College of London. She is currently InterAction's Director of Humanitarian Policy.
