Ryan Hakim is a Senior Director of Commercial Optimization and Market Operations at Pattern Energy, where he helps direct commercial management of the company's operating wind and solar fleet across U.S. and Canadian power markets. He joined Pattern through its acquisition of Cordelio Power, where he was Vice President of Commercial and Corporate Strategy - identifying and evaluating market opportunities and trends, enhancing competitive positioning, and supporting capital rotation efforts. Previously, Ryan led market fundamentals at Brookfield Renewable, pricing long-term offtakes, advising on asset valuation, and serving as the US power markets subject matter expert on over $3 billion of platform and asset acquisitions. Ryan was also a power analyst and economic consultant at London Economics, conducting wholesale market modeling and analyses for a range of clients in the energy sector, including utilities, regulators, developers, power producers, and infrastructure asset managers. At SIPA, Ryan is a faculty advisor on energy transition-related capstone projects.
