Rustam Baratov '26 is a Master of Public Administration candidate at Columbia SIPA, concentrating in Economic and Political Development with a specialization in International Organization and United Nations Studies. He currently serves as President of the United Nations Association at SIPA, where he helps students engage with global policy, the UN system, and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Before joining SIPA, Rustam founded the Future International Foundation, Inc., a New York-based nonprofit that empowers governments and organizations to drive measurable change. He has worked in tech at some of the fastest-growing companies and served as the former youth representative for the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, contributing policy recommendations on climate action, entrepreneurship, and youth leadership in Asia and Europe.

In his free time, Rustam enjoys specialty coffee, photography, cooking and backpacking. He looks forward to sharing his SIPA experience with prospective students.
