Personal Details

Neri Bukspan is a capital markets and corporate reporting expert and strategic advisor with over 30 years of global finance, accounting, risk and managerial cross-sector experience and managing change during volatile business and regulatory cycles. Most recently, Neri was a senior partner at EY and served as the Accounting, Reporting and Governance Leader for the Americas until his retirement in June 2022. He advised many Fortune 500 companies on financial reporting, strategic transactions, risk management, corporate reporting and investor communications and served as EY’s Americas Long-Term Value Leader helping companies shape and enhance their sustainability and non- financial reporting strategies and communications. Prior to his role at EY, Neri was Standard & Poor’s Chief Risk Officer and Chief Quality Officer, after serving as Chief Accountant, a role in which he led the firm’s financial reporting and governance research globally. He also served as an Adjunct Professor at the NYU Stern School of Business.

Neri has deep corporate governance experience, serving as a member and advisor to boards, C suite members and audit, finance and risk committees. He has also served in prominent advisory roles to global accounting standard-setting boards and regulators, such as the FASB, PCAOB, IASB and SEC. He is a recognized thought leader, author and speaker on topics including corporate reporting, investor communications, regulatory changes, financial analysis, ESG, human capital, policy, credit ratings and risk.

Neri is deeply committed to advancing economic development and building long-term value. He is a trustee of the Committee for Economic Development, a member of the Board of the Abraham Joshua Heschel School of New York and a member of the Economic Club of New York.

Neri has an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Business, a Master’s in Taxation from USC Marshall School of Business and a Bachelor of Accounting and Economics from Tel Aviv University and has completed the Columbia University Business School’s Executive Management Program. Neri is a CPA licensed in New York and California, a Chartered Global Management Accountant.
