Personal Details
Max’s research interests lie at the intersection of climate change, environmental policy, and economic impacts. Her work aims to bridge the gap between scientific understanding and policy implementation, ensuring that sustainable practices are both effective and equitable.
Max holds a degree in Environmental Engineering from Tufts University and a research-based Master's in Public Policy from the University of Chicago's Harris School of Public Policy. As an environmental engineer, she consulted for the EPA in the Great Lakes region on water and soil restoration projects. Following her master's degree, Max worked with the Climate Impact Lab on place-based adaptation policy research.
