Martsella Davitaia

Focus: Macroeconomics, Monetary Economics, Household Finance

Martsella Davitaia is a macroeconomist who specializes in household finance. Her research focuses on monetary policy effects, and contributes to understanding how heterogeneity observed at the micro level affects the aggregate economy. Martsella earned her bachelor's degrees with honors in Economics and Finance from a double-degree program at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow and the University of London, under the academic direction of the London School of Economics. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia University, where she was the recipient of numerous teaching awards.
