Jiawen (Kevin) Li '26 is a first-year student pursuing a Master of International Affairs with a concentration in Human Rights and Humanitarian Policy and a specialization in International Organizations and United Nations Studies. Before SIPA, Kevin interned at the International Committee of the Red Cross, where he translated and proofread extensive materials on International Humanitarian Law and supported conferences on global governance and humanitarian law. While Kevin does not have full-time work experience, he has actively contributed to various NGOs and international organizations through internships and volunteer experience, including UNDP, the Olympics, and local LGBT+ advocacy. He holds a bachelor's degree in English and International Organizations from Beijing Foreign Studies University and is currently in gap years from his master's studies in International Law. Kevin also gained experience in International Sports Law through a summer program at the University of Zurich in Switzerland. Originally from China, he is passionate about advancing human rights and fostering international cooperation. In his free time, he enjoys reading, exploring the intersection of law and technology, and staying active through fitness and outdoor pursuits.
