Personal Details

With over 30 years of experience as an organizational development consultant, Jeff Klenk has supported numerous humanitarian agency initiatives in change management, leadership development, program evaluation, and learning programme design and delivery.  In recent years, he has specialized in the design, development and delivery of emergency simulations to help clients test the capacity of staff and office systems to respond to humanitarian crises and identify needed organizational change. He has managed humanitarian operations in Africa, and led disaster assessment and program evaluation teams throughout Africa, Central America and the Caribbean, Central Asia, the Caucasus, and the Middle East. He has worked with both private and public sector organizations - including UN, government and non-governmental organizations - in more than 80 countries across five continents.

Previously, Jeff managed the CRS Headquarters Office of Information Systems where he supervised over 30 staff and consultants working on the development of financial and project management systems software. He also served as Coordinator of the CRS Headquarters Disaster Response Team. 

Following completion of a Master's degree in International Affairs with a concentration in Economic and Political Development at Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs, Jeff worked in New York City as an Associate Editor with the Financial Times of London Business Publications.
