Jacob Templin

Jacob Templin is the executive producer of video producer at Quartz. He’s an award-winning journalist that has been making videos for more than a decade, covering women’s secret soccer leagues in Saudi Arabia, investigating the future of video games, and explaining why Koreans have two ages.



Jacob was previously a senior producer at TIME. His work has been published in The New York Times, Retro Report, and PBS. He has a degree in film production from York University in Toronto, and a Masters in Journalism from Columbia University. He teaches a class called Multiplatform Storytelling at Columbia School of International and Public Affairs.
