Haiyue (Nina) Sun, a first-year MPA student at SIPA, concentrating in Climate, Energy, Environment Policy and specializing in Leadership, Innovation, and Design (LID). My academic background is rooted in a unique joint program between China Agricultural University and University of Colorado Denver, which gave her a global perspective early on and fueled her passion for tackling policy challenges on an international scale.
While she has a growing interest in climate and energy policy, my commitment to education policy runs just as deep. During an internship at China’s #1 non-governmental think tank, Nina had the opportunity to host diplomats and engage with policy leaders. At Accenture, she developed her consulting and strategic skills, working on impactful projects from many industries.
Throughout my journey, Nina has been driven by the desire to connect with people and build meaningful relationships. At SIPA, Nina is eager to share her experiences, contribute to a vibrant community, and help bridge diverse ideas to create real-world impact.
