Personal Details

Gregory A. Stoupnitzky is a Director of Investment Banking at EarlyBirdCapital LLC, a New York based financial services firm. Since January of 2016, he serves as the Senior Independent Director and a member of the Audit and Nominating Committees for Eland Oil & Gas Plc. (AIM: ELA). In 2018 and 2019, he served as Advisory Director with Innolith AG, a Swiss-based private company developing a new battery technology for utility scale power storage and other applications. He serves as a Director of Twelve Seas Investment Company, a Nasdaq listed special purpose acquisition company. From January 2014 to October 2015, Mr. Stoupnitzky served as CEO and Executive Director of Azonto Petroleum Limited (ASX: APY), a gas-to-power developer in West Africa, where he led the companys transformation efforts. Gregory has over 25 years of investment banking experience in the energy and natural resources sectors. He held senior positions with Morgan Stanley (1998-2008) Bear Stearns (1986-1996) and Renaissance Capital in London, Moscow and New York, where he worked with both companies and investor groups operating assets across emerging markets including Latin America, the CIS and Sub-Saharan Africa. Mr. Stoupnitzky has served on the board of the U.S.-Russia Business Council and of several corporate entities including Rialto Energy Limited and Vioco Petroleum. Mr. Stoupnitzky graduated from Columbia University with a BA and an MA as well as a certificate from Moscow State University.

He is currently an Adjunct Professor of International and Public Affairs as well as an Advisory Board Member of Columbia Universitys School oInternational and Public Affairs.
