Fernando Cirelli is an Assistant Professor at SIPA, specializing in macroeconomics with a focus on monetary economics and macro-finance. His research explores the unequal effects of aggregate events, such as recessions and inflation, on households and firms. He also investigates the appropriate response by policy institutions once these heterogenous effects are considered.
Fernando holds a Ph.D. in Economics from New York University and an MA and BA in economics from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella.
