Farah Sabir '27 is a Master of International Affairs candidate at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs concentrating in Development and Governance, with a minor in Technology, Policy, and Innovation. She is a first-generation Pakistani-American and earned her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Prior to SIPA, Farah worked as a Special Assistant at the Department of State under the Biden-Harris Administration. Farah also previously worked for the Democratic National Committee in the Office of the Secretary and for the Voter Protection team. As a Pickering Graduate Fellow, Farah recently interned in the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs at the Department of State. 

In her free time, Farah loves going for long walks in the city, finding new restaurants and cafes as a self-proclaimed foodie, and playing board games. She is excited to meet with students and talk about the incredible opportunities SIPA can offer them.
