Erica Berenstein graduated from SIPA and The Journalism School in 2008. Since then, she has worked as a staff journalist for Agence France-Presse, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. She is currently the head of video at Business Insider. Her team produces news and documentary shows and series, including the most popular daily news show on Facebook. She is thrilled to be back on campus teaching a course focused on how viral videos are playing a new and powerful role in shaping world events, influencing world leaders, and providing visual evidence from places journalists and even governments often cannot reach.
