Cameron is a first year PhD student in Sustainable Development at Columbia. His research interests lie at the intersection of the environment, human health, and public policy.

Cameron earned a BA in Economics and French from the University of Virginia in 2021. He then spent two years as a researcher at a joint position with the US Census Bureau and UVA. There, he assisted in research that connects environmental inequality with economic inequality.His future research seeks to use remote sensing and machine learning. He wants to advance the measurement of environmental hazards, amenities, and policies, in addition to quantifying their distributional effects. Specifically, he is interested in plastic pollution, waste management, and the food system.In his free time, Cameron enjoys running, traveling, learning new languages, and cooking.
