Personal Details

Alain Ize is a consultant on financial development and fiscal and monetary policy, with the World Bank’s Chief Economist Office for Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to this position Alain worked on monetary and financial issues at the International Monetary Fund. He is also a visiting professor at the Colegio de Mexico. He is co-author of Inflation Targeting in Practice: Strategic and Operational Issues and Application to Emerging Economies. He is a co-professor of the MPA in Economic Policy Management (MPA-EPM) program's Financial Development in Emerging Economies course.
