Adrian Hill

Adrian Hill is Executive Director for Columbia University’s Research Planning and Development where she plans and implements new university-wide research initiatives. Current projects include the Mortimer B. Zuckerman Mind Brain Behavior Institute and the Precision Medicine Initiative.

Hill has led strategic planning for Columbia’s Science Initiative, the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science, and the Earth Institute. She also manages the relationship with the University’s representatives in Washington, DC, with the goal of protecting and increasing competitive research funding for the academic community. She facilitates interdisciplinary faculty recruitments and interschool collaborations.

Hill holds an MPA in Environmental Science and Policy from the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs and a BA from Barnard College.
