Abhiskeh Deshwal

Abhishek Deshwal is a third-year PhD student in Sustainable Development. He has research interests in sustainable water management and air pollution, chiefly, uncovering the benefits and costs of environmental quality and society's preferences.

Abhishek holds a bachelor's degree in Physics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi and a Master in Development Studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Prior to starting at Columbia, he spent three years as a Senior Research Associate at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) in the energy and environment sector.
