Upcoming External Fellowship Deadlines

The SIPA Financial Aid Office maintains a database of external funding opportunities, and we wanted to alert students to some with upcoming application deadlines. For more external scholarship awards, go to our External Fellowships and Funding Sources page.

Please be aware that some organizations may have changed policies for this upcoming year. We check regularly to keep our listing up to date, but would appreciate feedback if you come across an outdated posting.

  • Pat Tillman Foundation
    Requirements:
    The Pat Tillman Foundation selects remarkable service members, veterans and military spouses as they look to begin their next chapter as public and private sector leaders.
    Deadline: February 28, 2021

  • Episcopal Church Foundation Graduate Fellowship Program
    Requirements: Applicants will provide a synopsis of the proposed course of study, express a commitment to forming the next generation of scholars and ministry leaders, demonstrate the need for this particular study, and propose a methodology for sharing the knowledge, experience, or best practices gained in this study.
    Deadline: March 1, 2021

  • National Italian American Foundation Scholarships
    Requirements:
    Be enrolled for Fall 2021 semester, be a United States Citizen or permanent resident alien, have Italian American ancestry, and be an active NIAF member. .
    Deadline: March 1, 2021
  • Horace Smith Fund
    Requirements: In general applicants must be residents of Hampden County.  Awards are made to students pursuing a specific post-graduate degree. If that degree program requires more than one year of full time study, the award can be renewed for as many as two additional years, if warranted.  Awards will be made on the basis of all available information, including school records, recommendations and examination scores.  Consideration will be given to both the merit and financial need of the applicant.
    Deadline: March 15, 2021

  • Fred Scheigert Scholarship Program
    Requirements: Scholarships are offered to students with low vision from 20/70 in the better eye with best possible correction, or a field restricted to no greater than 30 degrees and to those who have less vision but are still able to benefit from the use of low vision devices to perform daily visual tasks.
    Deadline: March 15, 2021

  • United Methodist Church Scholarships
    Requirements:
    GBHEM Loans and Scholarships administers over 70 scholarship programs with one general application. Criteria for each scholarship program vary, but there are minimum requirements that apply for general scholarship eligibility consideration.  Domestic and international applicants who are enrolled in a United Methodist institution within the United States may find opportunities.
    Deadline: March 24, 2021
  • Federal Employee Education and Assistance Fund
    Requirements: Federal public servants, their spouses, children, and grandchildren.
    Deadline: March 25, 2021
