The Kinesis Scholarships are available to residents of Puerto Rico attending graduate school at an institution outside of Puerto Rico. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0, demonstrate financial need, and explain how they will commit to the social and financial development of Puerto Rico.
Tuiton support at postgraduate level and for study abroad programs will be given as 70 percent grant and 30 percent loan up to the amount of NOK 67 191. Further tuiton support exceeding this amount will be given as a loan up to a maximum of NOK 131 386. Supplementary grants may be offered for high tuition programs. Only full-time studies are eligible, and the student must have resided in Norway for a continuous period of at least two years during the last five years before undertaking the educational program. Deadlines are usually in November and March.
Full-time undergraduate and graduate students of all academic disciplines who are currently enrolled in accredited post-secondary schools in the United States and Finland are eligible for FFN scholarships. U.S. or Finnish citizenship is required; applicants of Finnish-American heritage are given primary consideration. Minimum GPA: 3.0. Individual scholarships range from $1,000 to $3,000 per student; a total of $35,000 is awarded each year.
The National Organization of Italian American Women provides scholarships to help with the educational advancement of Italian American Women. Since its inception in 1980, NOIAW has awarded over 100 scholarships to deserving candidates. Eligibility Requirements: Female undergraduate or graduate students Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited US academic institution. The K.C. Mahindra Education Trust was founded in 1953 to transform the lives of people in India through education and financial assistance across age groups and income strata. Since then, the Trust has provided students with more than USD 22.03 million in grants, scholarships, and loans. Eligibility for Post-Graduate Studies Abroad: Applicants must possess a First Class degree or equivalent diploma of similar standard from a recognized University.
