General/All Fellowships

The National Italian American Foundation offers various scholarship opportunities for students of Italian descent. Scholarships range from $2,500 to $12,000. Eligibility Requirements: Be a member of NIAF or have a parent, guardian or grandparent who is a member of NIAF. Minimum GPA 3.5 out of 4.0 (or the equivalent). Some scholarships require a lower GPA requirement for eligibility. Be a US citizen or permanent resident. Have at least one ancestor who has immigrated from Italy.

Scholarships are available to students who are legally blind and are pursuing a full-time course of study. All scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence, service to the community, and financial need.

Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation Scholarships/Fellowships/Grants are available only to women who are members of Kappa Kappa Gamma. There are a variety of programs available please consult the website for further information and application details.

Since its incorporation in 1989 through 2019, the NY Grace LeGendre Endowment Fund Inc (GLEF), has awarded over $174,000 in fellowships to 156 NYS women. Of these, one hundred and three were working toward a Master’s and fifty three toward a doctorate. They were enrolled in fifty-three diverse fields of graduate study. The Episcopal Church Foundation has awarded three to four Fellowships per year. Awards range up to $15,000 and Fellows may apply to renew grants for up to three years (renewal grants are capped at $10,000). The application process is open to both lay and ordained members of the Episcopal Church or any member church of the Anglican Communion. The intention of the Fellowship is to foster research and ministry that will strenthen leadership in the Church. Applications will become available in November and due in mid-March.

The Delta Gamma Foundation offers fellowships for graduate/professional study. Applicants must be members of the sorority and selection is based on scholastic achievement, contributions to chosen field, and past and current Delta Gamma activities and leadership. For the 2018-2019 academic year 33 graduate members received merit-based fellowships of $2,500 or more. Applications will open in December each year.

The Scholarship Incentive Fund provides grants for Delaware residents who are graduate students in programs not available in public colleges in Delaware. The awards are variable (will not exceed tuition, fees, and books) and are awarded on the basis of financial need. Since its founding in 1959, the Alpha Epsilon Phi Foundation has been enriching the lives of AEPhi members by awarding scholarships for both undergraduate and graduate studies. All applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and will be scored based on academic performance; chapter, campus and community activities and need. Graduate applicants must have completed at least one year of graduate studies by June 30th. All recipients must be full-time students in the U.S. for the entire 2018-19 academic year. Applications generally open in January and are due April 1st.

The Association of American Indian Affairs (AAIA) has a long history of providing scholarships to college students. Over the years the scholarship program has grown to the current seven scholarships for graduate and undergraduate students from federally recognized and non-recognized tribes. Applicants enrolled in non-federally recognized tribes are only eligible for the Allogan Slagle Memorial Scholarship.
