The following classrooms have been converted into Hyflex classrooms by SIPA AV in the International Affairs Building (IAB). The rooms are scheduled by the Office of Academic Affairs. Classrooms with the instructor's electronic podium have a Dell Optiplex with Windows 10 operating system. The system is equipped with a DVD player, amplifier, camera, microphone, and ceiling speakers. Each system has Microsoft suite, Zoom, VLC player, and Citrix via browser to connect to the SIPA network. A detailed equipment list is available below.

Access to the SIPA Hyflex classrooms is managed by SIPA AV. Instructors and Teaching Assistants (TAs) can request training to use the equipment and get a key to access AV equipment in the SIPA eRooms each term. Other ad hoc or occasional access to AV equipment users only need to request SIPA AV to support the event or class. No additional training or key is needed. Users can request online access to SIPA eRoom or conference room spaces.

Notes:

  • Personal laptops cannot be connected to the Hyflex setup in a SIPA classroom. Hyflex setup provides the use of microphones and cameras.
  • Non-SIPA classes in a SIPA eRoom are billable @$105 an hour or $1,000 per term.
