The John R. Mott Scholarship Foundation gives back to the Italian region from which the Mott family emigrated. Graduate students native to the region of Calabria, Italy are eligible to apply for these scholarships which are awarded based on academic achievement and financial need. Consideration is also given to those who have made or will make future contributions to Calabria. Scholarships for up to $10,000 per year are awarded. Recipients must apply annually and are eligible to receive awards for a maximum of four years. Applications are generally available February 9th and due April 15th.

Since then, the Trust has provided students with more than USD 22.03 million in grants, scholarships, and loans. Eligibility for Post-Graduate Studies Abroad: Applicants must possess a First Class degree or equivalent diploma of similar standard from a recognized University. Kappa Omicron Nu National Honor Society for the Human Sciences (KON) serves 98 chapters and nearly 150,000 members. The organization awards members nearly $35,000 in scholarships each year.
