The Davis-Putter Scholarship Fund provides need-based grants to students actively working for peace and economic and social justice. Scholarships are awarded to undergraduate and graduate students who are active in the progressive movement.
Applicants must be living in the U.S. and planning to enroll in school in the U.S. in order to apply. There is a strong preference for those who plan on staying in the U.S. following their degree to continue their activism here.
The maximum grant is $10,000 and may be smaller depending on the applicant’s circumstances and the amount of available funding.
Check the website in January for application details. Applications are generally due March 31st.
