Tarikua Erda is a second year PhD student in Sustainable Development at Columbia SIPA. Her research interests lie in the fields of innovation, entrepreneurship, labor, and development economics. Her current research uses methods from applied microeconomics to understand the determinants of human capital, productivity, and inequality.
Tarikua holds a B.A. degree in economics with honors from Princeton University. Prior to joining Columbia, she was an economic consultant at Analysis Group, primarily working on healthcare antitrust and intellectual property litigation.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, and exploring the amazing parks of New York City.
