Jawaher Almheiri (she/her/hers) is an Emirati Civil Servant, who is currently pursuing her Master's degree in International Finance and Economic Policy at SIPA. She is passionate about the Sustainable Development Goals Agenda and has been advocating for it via her writings, projects, and talks.

Earlier in her career, Jawaher worked as a Business Development Controller at Emirates Airlines. Jawaher was appointed as one of the Dubai Youth Council members by the UAE Government in 2016. In 2017, she was part of the first National Youth Retreat, out of which the National Youth Agenda was launched in addition to her active participation with the team who contributed to the Arab Youth Strategy. In the same year, she represented the UAE in the Youth Assembly at the United Nations. Jawaher, who made it to Forbes Middle East 30 Under 30 list, won several awards, including the recognition for achieving first place in the Food Security Case Study Competition led by the Office of the UAE Minister of State for Food and Water Security in 2020, awarded with the UAE Foreign Minister's Medal of Excellence for the category of “Distinguished Emirates Diplomatic Academy's Graduate”, Sheikh Majed Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum's Media Award, Shell Award, and Let's Read Award, among others. Jawaher holds a Master’s in Excellence in Environmental Management, Bachelor’s in Aviation Management and is one of the Young Future Energy Leaders Program graduates. Finally, she is a writer interested in topics related to social, economic, and environmental development and digital currencies.
