Geet Chawla (she/her/hers) is a first-year Master of Public Administration (MPA) candidate at Columbia University, School of International and Public Affairs. She is concentrating in Economic and Political Development and specializing in International Conflict Resolution. She graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a double concentration in Finance and Entrepreneurship in 2015. Geet worked primarily in Finance, Strategy and Operations roles in a variety of industries throughout my career, most recently in management consulting followed by a FinTech startup. She is fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu. She is ecstatic to be a part of the Class of 2023 at Columbia SIPA where she is excited to enrich the academic discourse through her diverse background and experience. She is specifically interested in the intersection of law, public policy, and development and hopes to transition to a globally impactful career in a multilateral organization after graduation.
