Jennifer Morris MIA ’97

  • The Financial Times named Roula Khalaf MIA ’89 as its editor. Khalaf is the FT’s first female editor in its 131-year history.
  • Jennifer Morris MIA 97 was named CEO of the Nature Conservancy.
  • Steve Hasker MIA 98, 98BUS was appointed president and CEO of Thomson Reuters.
  • Karine Jean-Pierre MPA 03 was named chief of staff for US vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
  • Claudia López MPA ’03 was elected mayor of Bogotá. She is the first woman to lead Colombia’s capital.
  • Solomon Hsiang PhD 11, Chancellor’s Professor of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley, was named a 2020 Andrew Carnegie Fellow.
  • Congratulations to Camille François MIA ’13, chief innovation officer of Graphika, and Roya Rahmani MPA ’09, Afghanistan’s ambassador to the US. Both were named among TIME’s 100 Next 2019.
  • Evan Hill MPA ’19 won a Pulitzer Prize for International Reporting as part of the Visual Investigations team at the New York Times.
