SIPA Graduation Celebration for the Classes of 2020 and 2021

SIPA’s celebration will include remarks by SIPA leadership, celebratory toasts, opportunities for graduation photos, food and drink, and other festivities outdoors on Ancel Plaza (tented, therefore rain or shine)! 

Invitations to register for these events were sent to 2020 and 2021 graduates via email on April 11.

The deadline to register was Monday, May 2.

Ticketing & Guests

Ticketing and registration will officially launch later this spring. The University is allowing each graduate to bring up to 2 guests to the ceremony and celebration. 

Updated COVID-19 Policy for Graduation

All graduates and their guests must abide by University COVID-19 guidelines and policies. Graduates and guests who are fully vaccinated should be prepared to provide vaccination card proof on the day of the event.

Graduates and guests who are unable to receive the COVID-19 vaccination(s) for medical, religious, or other reasons will be required to do the following: 1) each unvaccinated individual over the age of 2 years old will wear a face mask during all events and 2) proof of a negative COVID-19 test, a same-day, at-home antigen test on the day of each event or PCR test within 48 hours of the first attended event, is required for any unvaccinated guest over age 5, and must be shown at entry for all indoor and outdoor events.

Regalia

Only caps will be required for both the morning ceremony and afternoon celebration (full regalia is not required, but may still be worn if desired). Please visit the dedicated Oak Hall ordering site to purchase caps or full regalia.

Travel Visas

If you or your guests need a formal invitation in order to obtain travel visas, please fill out the letter request form.
