Personal Details

Zaki Raheem is an enterprise development and entrepreneurship professional with 20 years in micro and small enterprise development, value chain & market systems development, financial inclusion and entrepreneurial ecosystem development with long and short-term field experience throughout Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and the Caribbean. He presently works as a Director at DAI’s Sustainable Business Group supporting projects with USAID, FCDO, World Bank, corporate and foundation clients; and serves as a technical lead for DAI’s engagement with the Global Accelerator Network (GAN) and the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE). Before joining DAI, he consulted with Chemonics, FINCA, IRC, Plan International, CARE, UNIDO, UN-Habitat, and Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) ESG team. He graduated from SIPA’s EPD program in 2008, and serves as a Team Advisor for the SIPA Dean’s Challenge entrepreneurship competition.
